About PingSage

PingSage is a free, unlimited website monitoring platform. We believe monitoring should not be a luxury — every website owner deserves to know when their site goes down, without worrying about tier limits, per-site pricing, or surprise bills.

100% Free. Forever.

No credit card. No hidden limits. No time bomb.

Why we built it

The monitoring market is dominated by tools that charge $15-100 per month for basic uptime checks, SSL monitoring, and security headers. We saw thousands of developers paying hundreds per year for what costs pennies in compute. So we built the alternative.

Our commitment

PingSage's free tier is not a trial. It is not a loss leader. We designed it to be sustainable at scale because the infrastructure cost is minimal (one simple HTTP check per site per minute).

When users eventually need faster checks, priority support, or white-label status pages for clients, they can upgrade to a paid plan. But the free tier stays free and unlimited.

Behind the name

A “sage” is a wise person — someone who sees what others miss. PingSage watches your sites so you don't have to. We're the wise lookout on the hill.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it really free? No catch?+
Yes. Unlimited sites, 1-minute checks, SSL monitoring, security headers, broken link scanning, and team sharing. No credit card required. We make money from Pro upgrades (30-second checks and email and webhook alerts) and paid toolkits for developers.
How is this different from UptimeRobot / Pingdom / Better Uptime?+
Those tools limit you to 50 free monitors, charge per site, or hide key features behind paywalls. PingSage gives you everything free: unlimited sites, unlimited team members, Slack, Discord, and email alerts, SSL checks, security headers, broken links, and content change detection.
What happens if I go over some limit?+
There are no limits on the free plan. Add as many sites as you want. Invite your whole team. Set up alerts on every channel you use. The only reason to upgrade is if you need checks faster than every 30 seconds.
